SEP Holds Legal Service Shared Center Construction Forum
On December 5, 2018, SEP held a forum on the construction of the company's Legal Service Shared Center. SEP President Wang Huaiming attended the forum, which was presided over by General Counsel Wu Ming.
At the symposium, SEP Policy and Legal Affairs Department introduced the construction situation of Legal Service Shared Center and concrete proposal, related functional departments and various affiliated companies put forward relevant opinions and suggestions on the construction of Legal Service Shared Center according to their practical situation, and Legal Service Shared Center also made a speech.
Wang Huaiming expressed thanks to those related functional departments and various affiliated companies for giving care and support to the construction of Legal Service Shared Center, and raised a few requirements for the next-step work as follows:
Firstly, fully understand the importance and necessity of strengthening the construction of Legal Service Shared Center. To enhance the construction of Legal Service Shared Center is the intrinsic requirement for legal central enterprise construction, the important measure for the company to become the pioneer and pacesetter of SPIC in building a world-class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness, and the specific path for the company to improve legal management capability while enhancing multinational operation development management capability.
Secondly, stick to goal-oriented approach, and boost the enterprise's legal work comprehensively. Through the construction of Legal Service Shared Center, adjust and reconstruct the corporate legal management work system, and provide quality, efficient and value-added legal service for the enterprise. And train first-rate legal professionals, and create a full-time, professional and international legal talent team for the enterprise.
Thirdly, insist on problem-oriented approach, and improve the quality and efficiency of legal service in an all-round manner. Legal Service Shared Center should find its accurate position, offer service without delay, give consideration to both service quality and efficiency, meet the customers' needs, and assist in their success. Play the role of assistant positively, coordinate with SEP Policy and Legal Affairs Department to carry out legal management and complete routine legal work of the enterprise. Enhance capability, reinforce team construction, and turn Legal Service Shared Center into a stage for all the legal professional staff to practice and show their talent. Give full play to social resources, and ensure introduction of core talents, cooperation with external law firms, and selection of the company's internal professional talents according on merit. All affiliated companies should put forward requests, questions and suggestions to Legal Service Shared Center timely, in order to promote its rapid growth. All SEP's functional departments should actively guide and support the construction of Legal Service Shared Center, complete related evaluation and assessment work, and Policy and Legal Affairs Department should intensify coordination, gather and sum up problems in the construction process of Legal Service Shared Center, and solve those problems in time. Hope to realize various tasks and goals of Legal Service Shared Center construction through common efforts of all parties, and provide legal guarantee for SEP to become the pioneer and pacesetter of SPIC in building a world-class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness.
